April 6th 2009: an earthquake, followed by a hundred-and-fifty other tremors just during the next day, destroys L'Aquila and its neighbourhood. Today, in late summer, almost everyone still lives into tents, the reconstruction business gains ground, coordination is difficult and the cold season is approaching. This is my report, seen through the images of a visit in San Demetrio ne'Vestini, a small village a few kilometers from L'Aquila.

With God on our side [Bob Dylan]
Un territorio tanto bello, ricco di boschi, di laghi, con una flora varia e rigogliosa e gente fiera delle proprie origini. L'inverno mi preoccupa seriamente, speriamo per il meglio.

Such a beautiful land, rich in woods and lakes, with a varied and healty vegetation and people which is proud of their origins. Winter seriously worries me, I hope for the best.
